Alright, it's now September 24th 2008, and I'm almost a month into my first year at university. Damn, time flies by so fast! Just 2 months ago I was in Japan pigging out on raemen (which by the way is BOMB), now I'm here in my dark and ominous room typing away on this laptop. I just finished my assignment which is due on Thursday, I'm so proud for the fact that I finished something before the actual due date, hurray for me not you sucka!
It feels kind of nice writing in blogs again, its like refreshing somewhat. I was convinced to write in this blog again by a good friend of mine (Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! if you're reading this. I HOPE you know who you are haha). My first few weeks of university hasn't been that bad but damn is it a culture shock. Post secondary is nothing like high school, NOTHING! High school did not prepare me for this at all! Too much reading oh em gee! On top of that TOO MUCH FREEDOM! I know why am I complaining about freedom? Well for the simple fact that I need discipline in order to be productive, too much freedom leads to ultra loafing times infinite. Now I must study and read chapters for my Accounting class tomorrow. Yippee more work -.-
As of September 7th (I believe so) ELLEGARDEN played their last show in ZEPP OSAKA (once again, I believe so). I think it was back in May when the band announced they were suspending the band's activities due to creative differences during the process of making another album. When i read that I was in a state of shock, depression, sorrow, melancholy, you name it. Now each members are off to their own musical projects, each member has some sort of blog, site, myspace, and what not to keep their fans (Japanese fans) updated on their activities. Too bad it's in Japanese, meaning I can't read it )=, o well at least there pictures I can look at in their blogs. Man, ELLEGARDEN is still one of my favourite bands that I will continue to listen to. I wish the guys luck and a prosperous future.
