Breakfast of Champions.

Ah yes, what a great way to start off my morning, by having the breakfast of champions. Hazelnut coffee with lots and lots of sugar and lots and lots of half & half cream. On top of that a cheese bagel with herb & garlic creamcheese, yummmieee. Anywhoo it is over half past 8am and my first class of the day starts at 10am. I am so no looking forward to that Popular Culture class, that damn room is too crowded and it gets wayyy too hot! Afterwards I'll have a 3 hour break from 12pm-3pm, that when my management class starts. Once again I am all alone at the food court typing away yet another of what seems to be many blog entries. Just give me a minute while I start the second half of my bagel now (=.... 1 mississppi...2 mississippi...3 mississippi...Oh boy this bagel went cold ultra fast, it's swallowing a boulder trying to eat this bagel now \=, but I'm a CHAMP so it's no biggie.

So, yesturaday after my accounting lecture I went into HMV and bought an album from this Canadian band called Tokyo Police Club. I've seen them appear on TV a few times and I sorta liked what I heard so I gave them a shot. Instead of downloading (=p) I decided to buy their work to support good music (the price was actually $7.99, haha). After listening to it, I was extremely happy with what I received, TPC it totally different from the stuff I usually listen to. Their use of keyboards syncs perfectly well with the other instruments and their vocalist (claimed by my younger brother) sounds like John Lennon, haha I guess that's a good thing? So I ended up purchasing the deluxe version without even knowing, it came with 2 disks. The scond disk contained 6 tracks that are remixes of selected song from the actual album itself. The remixes (to me) added more depth and flavour to the original recordings. My favourite songs on Elephant Shell would defiantly have to be Sixties Remake and Nursery, Academy.

Okay, I know that's an old picture seeing as the the bassist in the photo above is not Scott who is the current bassist of Weezer. BUT, this coming Tuesday (the 30th of September) me and my buddy are going to see perform at the ACC! THIS IS BIG NEWS FOR ME OH EM GEE! HYPERVENTIALTION KICKING IN. Yes, I am so looking forward to this! It's going to be my first concert ever! And what a first concert it's going to be! Though I am not a BIG fan of them I do enjoy several of their songs such as Buddy Holly (my favourite Weezer song btw), Hash Pipe, Pink Triangle, just to name a few. I bet you anything it's gonna crowded with men who are probably well into their 30's LOL.

Alright, time to sign off... I think the coffee and bagel combo is giving me a stomach ache.

Ja ne.
