Happy new years everyone, I hope everybody had a better time than I did on the eve of 2009. I spent my day first off driving around looking for a Nintendo DS (did not take much driving around actually seeing that I checked at one Toy'R'Us and they had one more left). After I saw it I instantly said "I'll take it!" and popped out my visa. I was itching to get my own DS, now that I have I finally feel cool and the holidays feels somewhat satisfied. Oh, I also purchased Final Fantasy Tactics A2 along with the hand held.
Later on I met up with a group of friends. We stayed at one of their house to finish watching the Raptors game (which by the way, they now suck), before deciding to head downtown to catch the countdown. Seriously, When I walked out my door it was only -1 degrees Celsius, then it miraculously became -13, my god were my feet and hands freezing. I obviously did not dress for the occasion.
The fire works and the stage at Nathan Philips Square looks pretty cool eh?
After the countdown me and they boys decided to go get something to chow down on and we ended up at a Chinese restaurant in Richmond Hill. Felt kind of weird being the only table with people rooting back to ethnics other than Chinese LOL. We ordered about 6 dishes and finished them in less than a half-hour, we must have been some pretty hungry boys huh?
We all headed back to the place where we all met. Here we became stupid more than brave. We all took shots of this alcohol called "Alcool" which was 94% alcohol! After two shots I was out, my head was throbbing, body became numb, and constantly laughing became normal. South Park never seemed funnier. I ended up crashing at my friends place. When I woke up, it was game over...
So far 2009 seemed like any other day. As for resolutions? Who bothers they never get fulfilled anyways right? Fuck it.
Happy New Years!
