When the world is at the blink of extinction, Gohan will save us.

Alright, It is now Sunday (with the exception of it being midnight). I've yet to fully blog for two days. The original entry of this date said I would continue to finish this entry later on and here I am fulfilling my promise. It's pretty obvious what I'm going to talk about in this entry. It's no question asking anybody whos anybody if they know about DragonBall Z. Like, seriously you must be an idiot to ask that. For those who don't know, where the hell have you been? DragonBall Z is probably the BIGGEST and MOST POPULAR anime in the world, over 20 years and they're still making marketing the series? That's how big they are.

DragonBall Z is the series that continues on with the storyline of its predecessor DragonBall. The main character is Goku. In DragonBall Z he has a son named Gohan and Gohan kicks ass while keeping it academic at the same time. Gohan is probably the most adored character in the series (I truly admire him aswell). You're probably asking why I'm writing about Gohan and not a character like Goku, or the bad ass Vegeta. Well, few nights ago I was watching the final episodes of the Cell Saga and Gohan was in Super Saiyan 2 kicking Cell's ass! Gohan had so much put on his shoulders at such a young age, hes been through some great development and growth durin the story, it's too bad it wasn't him who saved the world once again in the Buu saga. Initially he was suppose to, but fans wanted Goku back in the spotlight and Akira had to do what he had to do. What's even worse is that in DragonBall GT they totally downgraded Gohan's competency \=
Gohan has always been my favourite character from day one.

I always felt as if Gohan was like me sugarcoated and fabricated ficational twin or something. One because of his mom's (Chi Chi) emphasis on education and always forcing him to study (like my mom). Two he's an older brother (as am I). Three he kicks ass (and so do I). Truthfully, I kinda like Gohan before he grew up. We only get two see Super Saiyan 2 Gohan for like a few episodes (and with an exception to a movie). But boy were they worth it. After Cell saga never again was SSJ2 Gohan seen again, in the Buu saga he achieved some form called "Mystic Gohan". LIKE COME ON! HIS HAIR DIDN'T EVEN GO YELLOW!

When I was watching those episodes I was jumping up and down yelling "KICK HIS ASS GOHAN, FUCK THAT GREEN SHIT UP!" Man it feels good being a little kid. Never had I been so excited watching a show before (since I was a kid of course). Feels good being able to relive a childhood moment, a feeling I'd hope to experience more often. I might just even to attpemt to write a song dedicated to the big boy.

To Gohan my favourite superhero, you are a true warrior.

Reconiliation and Veronica.

Sometimes the cash balance in the bank's statement does not match with the balance in you book's statement. Sorry just trying to keep today's accounting lesson. GUESS WHAT?! IT SNOWED TODAY! But just for a bit, but dammit was it cold due to the wind chill and windy weather. Ugh *shivers*. Today I got to school about an hour and half before my lecture so I went straight to H&M to buy some scarves and gloves for me and my brother. Feels nice to be warm. Honestly I can't wait for Summer break but I prefer the Winter weather, I just hate being hot and sweating all the time. When I was on vacation all I could think about was Winter. Here are some evidence that it actually snowed today hahaha. I took these with my cellular phone that has 2.0 megapixel camera embedded in it.

After class, I went on to the student centre to purchase a metro pass and get this, my debit card was DECLINED! I was like "What the fuck?". Now I gotta go to my bank on Saturday to see what's the deal. On the subway ride to Downsview station I fell asleep yet again. The subway is like one of my many beds away from home hahaha.

One of my beds away from home.

I always wanted to take a photo of myself like this. Oh no my face has finally been exposed!

Anyways, you might be wondering what the title of this entry means. Well reconciliation is the topic of this week's chapter in my accounting class and Veronica is my first love. Yes, my dear Veronica. Oh how much moments we shared with one another. You might also notice that the picture in the heading of this page has changed. What you're looking at is my lovely Veronica. Yes, I name my guitars I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that prior to today's post.

It was early May of 2007 when I first brought you home. I couldn't wait to break you in. You become my motivation for the man I am now. Every minute spent at school was put into the anticipation of playing you. Through out the days we've been through some bumps and bruises but it has only made us who we are today. Now that you're all grown up and matured I am proud to say that you are my baby. When I was contemplating on whether to bring you or Betty to Japan with, I ended up choosing you because we go way back. Remember when I brought you to our weekend lessons, you were the envy of my teacher. Till today you'll probably be the envy of many musicians. I hope you don't take it personally that you've taken a backseat when I practise. I use you for songs that are tunes half-step down now, you're now used for songs with greater difficulty, I hope you understand. I still love my Veronica. Because of that I dedicated this entry to you.

PEACE.

Talking Machine.

Komban wa! It's been days since I updated my fellow audience about the current events of my life. Well lets start with regards to my last post. Yes I promise I had a lot to say, but seeing as how lazy I am we'll see how much I really have to say hahha--ahhh and the joke dies there.

Last Thursday my day ended very sourly partially because of my fault. You see in my are the GTA there's a line of buses called VIVA buses. And these buses, given the fact that it's nicer than you typical public transportation vehicle, they don't check if you have a ticket or not. So being the clever human being that I am I always just walk on. I've never been caught before until that day. Two officers of some sort came on and the checked everyone. And I was no exception. Bam, right there I got hit with a 150 dollar fine (in Canadian funds). Of course I can choose to fight it (but why would I?), plead guilty and pay the fine, or plead guilty with reasonable explanation. I had 2 weeks to respond, now I'm down to a week. It hasnt really bothered me that much so I'll just go to the courthouse next week. Prior to that event, at school it seems that my MGT200 teaching staffs had misplaced my scantron for that midterm that took place the week before. So with everybody else's scores posted online, I waited for mine and STILL NOTHING TILL THIS DAY! THIS MOMENT! THIS SECOND! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK MAN! I AM NOT TAKING THAT TEST AGAIN! Oh, sweet THE NOVEMBER's song is playing.

On the weekend, I spent both Saturday and Sunday studying my ass off. I never read the book for the ITM midterm, so I had A LOT of catching up to do. Before the midterm which was on Monday, I only had 3 hours of sleep. Yes, 3 hours. I tried cramming as much terms and concepts as much as I could before heading to sleep. The midterm had 51 multiple choice and 2 short essay questions. I did the best I can and for the essay questions I actually wrote down points that made sense and might I add, sounds damn good. After the midterm there was a lab following that same class! I was like "I just wrote the midterm my mind is exhausted and you want me to attend the lab for this class? Fuck you." So with my mind made up, I just sat out int he halls on them couches. Funny story, I was sitting next to a girl and I glanced at the screen of her MacBook and it turns out she was studying for the same midterm I just had. With my mediocre communication skills with girls, I initiated a short conversation because she had only an hour before the test and like me was trying to remember as much as possible. I feel bad as of now because I forgot her name LOL. So yes good gracious, I am done with midterms! Now I still got other stuff to worry about like quizzes and smaller assignments -_-. When will this stop!?

Enough about school, I finally was able to find some of THE NOVEMBER's stuff online, as well as THE TELEPHONES, and I finally gave this badn called 9mm Parabellum Bullet a shot. I heard this band before but they threw me off because the vocals did not appeal to me at first and it really killed the mood for me because the music itself is goddamn good. After a while I started to like them and like, not hate the vocals haah. There was this one song that got me hooked instantly, Talking Machine. These guys a fucken nuts, literally. I love performers like them with such energy, charisma, and momentum.

Now I'm gonna go read for my ACC100 lecture tomorrow! Later.

Pity Entry

For the sake of making an entry (and out of being bored), I'll make this entry short. I have work at 6pm and I finish at 11pm. I have a lot to say or so I believe I do. Stay tuned.

IT SNOWED! (yesterday) & New Music Player & Milestone

So two days ago, my mommy told my brother that it was gonna rain the next day. Turns out she was wrong, in fact it started SNOWING! (I know like OMGZORS right?) The snow was not heavy for strong as it melted once it hit the ground. But it was amazing nonetheless. Its only mid-October (geez only? Few blogs ago I could have sworn I said "mid-September" or somewhere along that line) and it already started snowing. As expected (by me) it did not snow the next day (which is today). Anywhoo, today I had the most confusing accounting lesson ever (figures since I did not bother to do the reading). When I got home I went straight to my guitar (which I have not given a name yet or determined whether it's a girl or boy. Yes I do that with my instruments thank you very much) and started playing this song that I made. It's not yet done but I can say it sounds raw, because its like all power chords haha! (simple because I lack music theory so I am incapable of writing songs /= ) Also, to make my day brighter the PV for ART-SCHOOL's ILLMATIC BABY finally surfaced on the internet (youtube)! I hope it doesn't get taken off! =x

I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Not just because of the song (which I love even more), not because of the girls and their bad choreographed dancing, and not because that random white girl molesting the poor manikin either (*coughs coughs*). I just love it! So different...so unique. I remember one saying "It looks like a bad rap music video.", I can only laugh at that comment because it does make sense. Also I discovered yet more new music! Shinichi Osawa, a DJ I believe. There was this one song that I instantly fell in love with called Our Song. Check out the PV (I'm like in love with the girl who stars in this video <3)

See! Don't you just love it too? I DO! You guys might also notice the new music player on the side. Yes I switched to imeem because it's just better and I was late getting my hands on it first. Now there are more songs from my favourite bands that I can share with my readers. Also I was able to find this ART-SCHOOL song that I never heard of before and I want to know WHERE IT CAME FROM! I MUST KNOW NOW! Anyways, I'm gonna go back to listening to ILLMATIC BABY (I downloaded the video form youtube then ripped the audio because I'm that smart).

Ja ne.

EDIT.

I JUST FORGOT! THIS IS MY 30th BLOG POST! YAY! THE BIG 3-0! WHOOT!

20 October 2008

I AM DISCO.

Man, I really hate October. It seems be dragging on and taking forever yet at the same time is passing by fast! We're already into the second half of the month and lets recap what happen so far. On the 15th I had my accounting mid-term (which was surprisingly done with a fair amount of difficult) and not to mention ART-SCHOOL released their new mini album and greatest hits album (thought I had to mention that since I ordered mine a month ahead and should be getting my hands on them really soon). The following day I had two midterms one for popular culture in the morning and management in the afternoon both of which I finished with ease, well not ease less difficulty than accounting -_-. Which is good right? If I'm gonna bomb one I can at least make up with the next two. Then on Friday I got back my proposal from popular culture and I got 75% WHOOT! I was expecting a 50%, seriously. I worked later on that day in the evening and had the rest of the weekend off. Today I just finished my fourth midterm for organizational behaviour, god I hate that class. Then on Friday I have another proposal due this time for ITM. Hate that class too, then next week I have my final midterm for ITM. Basically this means I'm gonna (and should) devote this week to studying for that midterm since I havent done an reading for it what so ever! Bad boy.

Enough of school, time to reflect on life. I turn 18 in a month! Yay or nay? Yay for turning into a somewhat legal age (I still can't drink alcohol legally, but who does these days?). Also for the fact that I can do alot more (massage parlors, lottery tickets, credit card >=) ). Nay for the fact that I'm no longer a kid, I'm now (or will be) an adult that must be responsible for his actions. Sadly giving my appearence, I'll still probably be percieved as a kid anyways haha. I'm thinking of going paintballing for my birthday celebration and then afterwards round two at All-Star Chicken and Ribs. I never been paintballing before, all I ever hear about it is the pain and the excitment. Everything comes with a sour end right? Thank gosh I have Tuesdays off, now I can sleep in then wake up to ....study (who am I kidding?).

It's been over a week since I talked to a good friend of mine, but it's reasonable seeing as we were both busy with school and work. I had midterms to study for thus leaving my status on MSN as busy, for an entire week. On the other hand she just started working and was finally able to go to school due to some registration error, I'm not fully informed on that situation but it's history now. She has alot of catching up to do and I hope she does well seeing that shes going to graduate this year, so best of luck to my friend! GAMBATA!

As you are all aware, I have a youtube channel and on that youtube channel I post of videos of myself doing bass covers for various songs by my favourite bands. All these covers I used tabs to perform. I'm not that good yet and my hearing still has ways to go. So on youtube, I was able to discover some bands that really caught my ear and I thought I should share with my fellow readers (meaning the 1 or 2 out there that are my friends LOL).

First off is a band called The Novembers, I had watched a live clip of them before but that song didn't appeal to me as much. It wasn't until I watched their PV for she lab luck. The arrangement of the chords in this song is flat out gnarly. I love it, the intense energy, grunge themed mixed with hard melodic rock. And the vocals goes strong and appears to be very versatile in controlling tone and pitch of his voice. If u listen carefully you might just be able to hear the kick ass drumming and the bass lines that harmonizes well with the guitar. Overall I give this song 5/5.

Another band that I found and instantly gravitated towards, is a band called The Telephones. (notice how all these bands have "the" in the beginning). Now this band is not a rock band but a... (let me go on their myspace). Ah! There we go, New Wave/Pop/Melodramatic Popular Song type of band? Yeah, I have no clue what that means either. Their the reason why this blog entry is titled "I AM DISCO." And these guys know how to tear up a stage as well.

Here's the PV of the song Urban Disco, the song that started it all for me. Man are these guys vivacious.

Alright guys nights! Oyasuminasai!

18 October 2008

3 down, 2 more to go. GRANDMA TAKE ME HOME!

I am gravely sorry, for I have yet to post an entry into my illustrious blog since around Thanksgiving. It's just that yours truly has been studying for mid-terms and what not (along with stressing and having a mid-life crisis). Today is Saturday and it's already nearly 5pm I took today off to "study" but what have I been doing? Watching Youtube (specifically the videos of myself performing covers on my bass guitar ;) ). As of late I've been trying to learn Under My Skin by ART-SCHOOL, because it was requested and I have the score for it. That song has a sick ass bass riff that I can listen to forever. Any fans of Nirvana? There's this one song that has been on MAJOR HEAVY ROTATION since last night, Sliver. I love that song, the power chords have never sound so good and Kurt Cobain's aggressive vocals during the second half of the song makes the composition that much more potent. Such passion.

This past week, I had the ACC100 mid-term, SOC202 and MGT400. Ironically, I studied so much and the most for ACC100 and it was the mid-term that i struggled with the most, while the other two I think I did well in, but did not study as much for. Now I have to reread 5 chapters and prepare myself for the mid-term I have for MHR405, I hate that class it's like the most boring class in the world seriously. Then I have a proposal due Friday for ITM100 (another boring ass class). As for ITM100 the mid-term for that course is next Monday not the one coming up. I haven't even touched the book for that class yet, I seriously need to take school seriously especially when it's costing money. Damn tuition is hurting my family financially. THEY NEED TO DROP TUITION FEES! FUCKEN HARPER BETTER DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! This is all so stressing -_-

Lately I've been thinking of transferring schools next year, Ryerson isn't really giving me the excitement I had sought out for in university. But, then again it's too early to say because I'm only halfway through the first semester of my first year. I'm hoping next semester will be much better. I swear I should've went somewhere far from home for university. Ryerson is too far and takes long to travel from home. Like sometimes the time I take to go to school and back home is actually longer than the actual class I have for the day! I've been thinking or going to York and I sound like a hypocrite saying this because, last year when deciding where to go I was laughing at the thought of going to York, and I apologize to all the York students out there. Going to York would be a lot more convenient for me and a lot less stress. Plus I hear York has like the hottest girls ;p. I've been to york before, it's really a nice place, it's like its own town. Very large and spacious, filled with a lot of people. Oh well, I'm not really sure what to do yet. I just gotta make sure I do well on my mid-terms and ultimately achieve an 80 average so I can still get that yearly scholarship. See ya!

A Happy Thanksgivin' Indeed.

Ah yes, the holiday is over and Thanksgiving was...well Thanksgiving was the same for me the way it has been in the past years. Today I woke up studied a little and went out to have dim sum with my friends. One of which goes to school in London and he had came back for the holiday, so he wanted to do something before heading back to London. He picked me and my brother up and from there we went on to meet up with other dudes. And just like that off to Mississauga we went. As we pulled up to the Chinatown Centre, me and my friend were in awe of how packed it was on this holiday, then again (not to be racist or anything) the place is run by Chinese people. My friend quickly said "This is where Asian people go for Thanksgiving." as a joke and I quickly burst into laughter.

We ate at a restaurant called Sun Sun Ming or something and they served dim sum all day apparently. I remember this place it has a lot of memories, for example my cousin had his banquet dinner for his wedding there. I haven't been to this area never mind the restaurant in a very long time. What's even worse is that I naver had dim sum in an even longer time!

As we got seated we got right down to business. My friends probably ordered about over 10 oders of dumplings alone! I got so full I felt bloated like I was pregnant or something. But boy was it good. I love ha cau (=

After dim sum we bid farewell and went our separate ways. Back home once again and the first thing I did was went straight to bed since I had a case of food coma aka "itis".
Woke up soon after and started reviewing for my ACC100 midterm. For god sakes accounting homework takes for ever to finish like I only get 3 hours on the midterm how am I suppose to finish!? What's even worse is that I have 2 more midterms that I haven't even started studying for yet and another ITM100 assignment due at 12am which i tried doing but could not finish because it took even longer than fucken accounting! ARG! THERE GOES 1% OF MY GRADE!
After I gave up took a break msn'd a little. Then I did some push ups since I was not able to get to do my cardio workout like I had planned. After my shower I am now back here, typing in this blog to reflect on my day. I leave you with my work. Farewell.

12 October 2008

My asshole still burns.

Yes, what a vulgar title is it not? I haven't posted in a while so lets warm up with what I did for Sunday (up to as of now). I woke up at noon? I haven't woke up around that time in such a long time (well overdue) and it felt GREAT. Don't you just love long weekends? Anywhoo, today I mopped the house and my parents went to Wal-Mart. When they got home guess what they got me!..GUESS! They got me a watch! I had asked my dad to get me just so I can keep track of time during tests and what not at school, since for some odd reason the classrooms DO NOT have any clocks installed in them (like dude, what the fuck Ryerson?). You might be wondering why am I excited about a watch from WAL-MART right? Well the thing is my parents actually took their time to pick one out for me and not just pick one with their eyes closed. They picked one that suited me, they picked a watch with a guitar on it! That's so cool how my parents actually know my interests! Also my dad also go me them Febreeze freshener, now my room can actually smell like I cleaned it when I never do.

Later on that day, me and my brother also went to Wal-Mart because the watch my parents got me was too wide and I needed to get the wrist band part shortened. Turns out Wal-Mart does not perform those types of services so me and my brother went to Vaughn Mills after picking up our cousin. While at Vaughn Mills I finally bought something at AEROPOSTALE. This brand had interested me for a while now and I finally got my hands on some of their clothing. I only bought a few this time because I wanted to save me shopping spree for next time when I got with a friend of mine (I had asked her to come with me and she agreed, I need all the help I need in picking out clothes). While trying on the clothes I realized once again I need to lose weight (well the belly, my arms are GUNS, conceited? Why yes indeed (: ).

After shopping, my cousin had his mom pick him up and me and my brother went on to eat some sushi at Yang's. For some reason I thought this place had prices like any other Japanese restaurants. But I was wrong. They jacked up their prices to 1-5 dollars more than the average Japanese places! But in the end it was well deserved because the restaurant's interior itself was spectacular backed up with great service and tasty food, the price can't go wrong.

As I got home, I changed then started to study for about 2 hours reviewing Accounting chapters 1 through 3 writing notes that I haven't gotten down yet, looking at financial statements and how the work damn cash flow statement still gets me confused. All I have left is chapter 4 and 5, then I gotta do the exercises. That's all for Accounting, I still have Popular Culture and Management to worry about! FUCK. I feel so lost in the air (ART-SCHOOL reference). After studying I finally got on the treadmill and ran for 15 minutes, somehow the plug pulled itself out and the machine shut down. I decided I had enough and jammed with my bass guitar once again. Now I am here typing one long blog, as you can see so far I've only talked about TODAY and not yesterday and the day after yesterday. I really should have taken a shower, maybe I will after this blog and then go study some more before I shut some eyes.

Okay, yesterday I had a 9 hour shift at work from noon to nine o'clock PM. Throughout most of the shift it was DEAD at the restaurant, I was so bored guess what I drew?

That's right, I drew the members of ART-SCHOOL. Starting from the left you have the bassist Takeshi Uno, Riki Kinoshita the founder and leader of ART-SCHOOL, Yuichi Sakurai the drummer and an original member, and last but not least Masafumi Todaka (aka Toddy) the gnarly lead guitarist...yes he is crazy when he performs.

When I got home from work I met up with my hommieZ at around 10pm and we headed to Allstar Chicken & Ribs. I've never been here before, but my friends say they serve the best wings in town and not to mention they have a few items known to be deadly spicy. For a first time I did pretty impressive eating 3 H-Bombs (sounds deadly eh?). Hell yeah it was, it was too spicy as if my whole mouth was being torched constantly. After wings we headed to Master Q to shoot some pool and might add *clears throat* I killed it. K, I didn't play so well because I suck obviously but I came through in the end! It was fun, pool is such a good way to relieve tension. Around the time we were done it was past 3am and I got home at 4am. In the morning today my mom asked me why I came home so late, I couldn't even answer her I was too tired.

After eating those wings, it burned every time I used the toilet and it still does now, hence the title. Alright that is it for today!

Peace.

Lolita Kills Me.

Lolita Kills me, I always wonder what the meaning of that title stood for. For those who don't know Lolita Kills Me is a song by ART-SCHOOL off their second mini album entitles "Mean Street". The song is one of my all time favourite songs and I keep it on heavy rotation on my iPod.

Back to life, it's almost mid-term period for me this month, I can't believe I'm already ...5 or 6 weeks into school already and I have so much catching up to do, I just finished copying my friends notes for SOC202 class and I'm almost caught up with the readings for all my classes. Okay, maybe not all of of my classes, but I will be this coming weekend. Yes, this coming weekend is a long weekend for me since next Monday is Thanksgiving and I always get Tuesday off that means I have a 4 day weekend coming up! Major study time.

As for now, I have a proposal due tomorrow for that SOC202 class =\ I hate writing assignments gosh. In about 2 hours my ACC100 class starts, that's like the only class I'm doing well in... so far! The mid-term for that class is a written evaluation, I was hoping for multiple choice =(

I swear weeks go by so fast! Oh my gosh! I got to go to the library now see ya!

I leave you guys with a clip from ART-SCHOOL's Sleep Flowers Live DVD. Guess what song it is ;)

Procastination starts here.

I'm doomed. Research paper thesis due tomorrow and I have no clue what I'm gonna do. THIS THESIS ALONE IS WORTH 5% OF MY MARK LIKE WHAT THE FUCK?! Doomed.

In other news, STRAIGHTENER has made a recent addition to their roster. Oyama Jun (Ex. ART-SCHOOL) joined the band as their lead guitarist I assume. When I found out I was really mad because I preferred the 3-man line up instead. But after finding out it was Oyama Jun who was in ART-SCHOOL the same time Hinata was, I feel more eased. That is all. I hope this will make straightener an even more awesome band.

Hegemonic Ideology

Don't mind the title, it's just the topic that my paper for my SOC 202 class is mainly on. Anyways to recap on last night or rather yesterday, I had a day off school great timing too because it was the day of the Weezer concert.

So during the afternoon I met up with a friend of mine and then we headed downtown couple hours before show time. While we were down there, we went to this restaurant called Sushi Queen and had a meal before we headed to the ACC.

As you can see, I had the bento box with the Salmon Teriyaki as the main portion....yummy (I wish it was =/ ). So afterward we were walking down Queen Street West still and I decided to go into Bluenotes to buy myself some sort of outerwear since it was getting cold (and I was in need of new clothing anyways. I was able to find myself a red hoodie that matched (sort of) the hat I was wearing (which I also bought earlier and forgot to mention above).

Pretty random how the hat I bought, I chose to put the New Brunswick Logo on it. I guess I wanted something different and random. Haha...'kay I know it was not that funny.

After Bluenotes, we continued our journey down Queen Street. Then we stopped at Steve's Music Store and there I saw the most beautiful guitar... a Fender Jazzmaster. Why did I say beautiful? I should've used a more contemporary term like "cool" because it was exactly that COOL and SICK looking. See in that model reminded me of ART-SCHOOL's lead guitarist Toddy (Masafumi Todaka, you can check out his blog at http://toddy.unochannel.com/), because he owns/uses a Fender guitar like that as well.

And then we finally arrived at the ACC, there was already a huge line-up! When the show started guess who opened up for Weezer? TOKYO POLICE CLUB! LIKE SERIOUSLY HOW WICKED?! JUST LAST WEEK I GOT INTO THEM THE NEXT WEEK I SEE THEM IN CONCERT! TPC seemed like real guys, real down to earth and humble Canadian boys that knows how to rock a show. Following was another band whose lead singer is infamously known for being one-third of the raddest punk band ever. That's right Blink-182's Tom Delonge's band (Angels and Airwaves) took the stage. And let me just say it was a pretty strong performance on their end backed up with like the most epic light show ever, it was like I was at a rave or something.

As soon as AVA finished their set, more and more seats started to get filled. As they all came just in time to see one band come on stage...WEEZER. Surpisingly I never knew Canada had this many Weezer fans, like honestly the Canadian Weezer Fanclub on Facebook has like literally 5 members! The ACC was nearly full! Total contrast. The Weezer show was awesome, I'm glad I lost my concert virginity to Weezer. GREATEST HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE! To make things better they started off with My Name is Jonas and then Pink Triangle. There were songs the played from their new album (obviously) but I never even gave the Red Album a listen because their single Pork and Beans never really did appeal to me as much. But to my surprise their new songs sounded pretty ass kicking. Now I know why my shirt says Touble Maker, its a name of a track from the new album. Rivers Cuomo is a funny MC, sense of humor, hinted with sarcasim with lack of enthusiasim made me laugh. I swear I think Rivers is balding =X Anyways, several songs later and Undone was performed with a special guest...none other than TOM DELONGE. It was lovely I was screaming at the top of my lungs shouting "I LOVE YOU TOM!". *sighs* Goodtimes. When appearently the live was over, Weezer came back on stage with a bunch of local Toronto musicians to perform Island in the Sun, it was soo cool becasue it was something I had never seen before, like seriously an ACORDIAN SOLO? It don't get no better. Then their set was finally over. Until they came back on stage for an encore and this made my day because for their last song of the encore they played my favourite Weezer song of all time BUDDY HOLLY. After the show was done, me and my buddy parted ways on the subway train his stop was before mine (makes sense since mine was last on the line). I got home ate rice and went to sleep happy with a huge smile and a sore throat.

Here were some Weezer merchandis I bought that night.

And to end off the post, I'll leave a shot from my friends 12 megapixel camera (holy shit 12?!)
