About time...

A week in to December and things finally got done, about time! Though these things probably have low priorities in relation to things that are on my plate as of late (exams), I thought that they would be worth mentioning, for my sake of course (who cares about you? I kid :) ) So lets list them show we?

About time I got a web cam; I bought one yesterday for $19.99. It's like some no name brand, but what ever a web cam is a web cam, I have no need for a $100 web cam. Speaking of prices, does anybody notice all these web cams that cost $100 and up? it's ridiculous!

About time I bought RAM for my desktop machine; along with the web cam I purchased I also bought 512 MB DDR RAM running at 400 Mhz for my computer. I really needed this little boost because my machine was slowly eating it self up.

About time I brought home a guitar stand; I know, I've been playing the instrument for about over a year and a half and I never had a guitar stand. Usually I'd just leave them on my bed or the floor, or my chair, those WERE my guitar stands at the time. Funny thing though, there's about 5 guitars in my house and the stand I bought only holds three, meaning I'm still lacking necessities for my instrument.

About time I got mini guitar cables to connect my effect pedals together; I bought these little colourful babies when I went to drop my brother off at this music school for his weekly lesson.

*This next one is a big one for me personally*

ABOUT TIME MY ORDER FROM CD JAPAN CAME IN; On Friday morning, after my workout (playing the bass guitar) for an hour or so, I walked out in my boxers to check the mail box. Little did a I know that significantly larger than envelope mail cardboard box was stuff in my inbox! As I rushed and saw the tape with a Canada Post stamp on it, I knew it was what I've been waiting almost 2 months for! AT LAST I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON ART-SCHOOL'S TWO LATEST RECORDS! ILLMATIC BABY mini-album, and Ghosts & Angels; ART-SCHOOL Best Songs compilation. This truly made my day, it did really! Though the new mini-album kind have disappointing me sorta, I liked half the album basically. But I guess every band/artist has to switch it up, I was hoping to hear some sound that would make me feel nostalgic about ART-SCHOOL's earlier works.

About time I got a real synthesizer pedal for my bass guitar; today after my brother performed at some Christmas event (held by his music school), we went to this small guitar shop in Thornhill. There I tried out this bass synthesizer pedal by Ibanez. I had saw this pedal the day before when I went there to buy the stand, but it was Ibanez and I was too hyped up in BOSS products. When I was home, I searched up that pedal and listened to some samples. I had to admit it wasn't, but actually good! So today I had to go there and buy it, even if it meant being broke AGAIN. Along with the pedal I bought this cool mini amp with a built-in tuner for my brother!

Lastly,

About time I started reading for my sociology class; so far I've been trying to catch up on 10 chapters that I missed reading on for that class. Since it's my first exam this week, I figured I should get that one over with, even though I got bigger fish to fry. I plan on going to the library tomorrow to study for other courses.

That is it for today! Peace and kudos to all the people in world! BE BREEZY!
